   Great Pic! was that a full grown tree or something more like a bonsaii? I like, the depth of field and the colors grerat shot

     It’s not a bonsai, but it is stunted because of the general lack of moisture in the area (and altitude, around 8000′). The tree is about 3′ high.

   I like the tight crop on this pick. I’ve recently shot a Pine tree at Hartman’s Rocks in Colorado–they’re kind of similar (have a look if you’d like @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/harryloofah/6028334524/), but I like the DOF on your shot much better and the layers of color and light. Thanks.
