It’s Tuesday and you know what that means??? Neither did I when I got up. Ahhhh….vacation. But Sabrina and I were up uncharacteristically at 9:15am. The clouds were clearing and we could see the deep blue of the open water beyond the bay again. The bay itself in Zihuatanejo is a cloudy brown from all the rain last night. But Andres spared us any more rain and moved on North. Whew.
I didn’t take any pictures today. Sabrina and I lazed around, went to the pool, then the beach, then the pool again, then watched movies, then the pool again after dark. It’s good to have down days. Playing on the beach was a lot of fun. Sabrina could have jumped waves for days if I let her. At first she wanted to hold on to me all of the time but gradually got more and more confident with getting knocked down once in a while. We built a sand castle with an awesome dual moat system with extra high walls to keep out the waves, but it was gone with one heavy surf. Oh well. All in all Sabrina spent about 5 hours in water today. The down side is we did get sunburned. My back, which I completely neglected for some odd reason, is toast. Sabrina just has a little on her leg. We’ll be playing out of the sun more for the rest of the trip.
