Today was my last day at Marchex, Inc. I’ve been working with the same group, more or less, for about 9 years now and it was hard to leave (although I’m such a tough guy, I never let it show :) ). All my personal affects fit nicely in a box and unpacked in no time once I was home. Kim and Sabrina had made a number of signs and hung them up for me to discover as I came home. They gave me a warm, jumping, surprising welcome when I walked in the door and it felt great.
For now, I’m going to relax and take care of a lot of things that need to be taken care of at home. We have some plans to travel this summer and do more camping. Kim and I will be trekking in Nepal in October/November (let us know if you’re interested in going!). And then we have some around the world trips plans that need a lot of fleshing out.

We’ll miss you Pete!
