This may not seem like a big deal, and really it’s not, but I stumbled on the fact that our blog is finally listed on Technorati. Yes, this very blog you are reading now is ranked number 4,446,976 of all the blogs in the entire world….maybe even the universe!! Check it out here. Technorati is a blog search and ranking site and this is the first time I’ve seen us listed there. I got curious and searched for the carey adventures to see who our main competition is.(ok, we don’t really HAVE competition but I was curious)
First, at a ranking of 8.9 million and no “authority” on technorati, is the Adventures of Carey, Kim and the Gang. http://careyandkim.blogspot.com/ . I think I just increased their authority by posting that….I’m still learning…
Second, with a rank of 2.1million (WAY ahead of us) is Carey’s Cats http://careyscottfamily.blogspot.com/ which isn’t even about cats!!
Lastly there is our old site before I put this one up. That is also at 8.9million and won’t be getting better any time soon, as it no longer exists.
So in the world of technorati, for the highest rank of all the The Carey Adventures searched blogs, we have some room to grow. Maybe we can jump up a few million points and take care of those people who don’t have Carey as their last name. Maybe, just maybe…..oh, never mind. I need some lunch.
