Pita Chips Recipe

These can also be browned without any oil or seasonings and used with a flavorful dip.

Diet Types: Low Fat, Low Sodium, Vegan, Vegetarian

Ingredients:

  • 4 small rounds of whole wheat pita bread
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning blend

    Serves: 8

    Cooking Time: Under 15 minutes

    Instructions:Cut pita into eighths and seperate the wedges. Lay rough side up on a cookie sheet. Gently heat oil, garlic, and spices in a small saucepan. Brush lightly onto each pita wedge and broil 6" away from heat for under 1 minute, or until lightly browned and crisp.
