Found a place to rent

Sometimes thing just work out well.  In this case, the person who is buying our house (actually, the representative for the LLC that is buying it) mentioned a house I had looked at before.  Originally the house I looked at was for sale and I enquired about leasing it for a year.  The realtor said no.

But now it’s for rent and off the for sale market.  I called today in a frantic panic after Kim went by to get the phone number (the house is within spitting distance of hers, just about).  It was still available for $1400.  After calling Kim back as she cased the joint and reminded me what was what, I called back and told them I’d take it.  Rather more spontaneous than I’m used to, but I remember the view and the charm of the house, and that there wouldn’t be a lot to clean or heat, so I took a chance.  Kim met me at the house when the owner showed up to take a look and helped talk her down a few bucks on the dog aspect of things (knocking $50 off the original price).  And then later I brought Sabrina by to take a look.  Both of them loved it and thus, I’ll move in on the 26th, if not sooner bit by bit.  I’ll post some pictures soon.  It’s cute, cozy, small with a great view.  It meets all my needs and a few of my wants.  It’ll do.
