Up and up the price goes. One week ago here on Whidbey Island in Washington it was $4.14. It was $160 to fill the Suburban and it’s officially time for the Suburban to go. If you’re looking for one, ours is for sale! It fit out needs 2 years ago, but at 15MPG, we don’t haul enough stuff. It runs well and has been very good to us.
Some places in Seattle it’s over $5/gallon. it stinks, but as my last post noted, there it is. It’s finally got us to the point of choosing the Passat over the Suburban.
For the record, it’s a 1994 Suburban 2500 Silverado 6.5L. 3rd row seats. Runs well. Gets 17MPG on the freeway with a 44 gallon tank. It’s been a great hauling truck for us while the Defender was getting fixed. We just don’t need 3 cars now.
