In the ever increasing field of fuel, I thought it’s be handy to update a bit from my last post for $4.80 for B20 biodiesel. We don’t have B100 on the island any more as it was too expensive for the company selling it to compete. So the one Exxon station that has it (distributed from Whole Energy) now charges $5.30 for a gallon. It was $187 to fill the Suburban.
Now, I’m not complaining because, well, it’s up to me to drive and do what I do. The Suburban will be going away soon and I’ll have something slightly more efficient. But other than that, prices are what they are. If there wasn’t the demand, prices would fall.
