Hi there!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything so an update is in order. Kim and I will be stepping up travel plans in the next year and plan to take a one year around the world trip in January of 2009. To that end, we will be taking shorter trips and this blog will be revised and maybe dropped for another. I’m not sure yet. We know we want to hit most every continent and spend some specific time in places like Nepal, Patagonia, Kenya and Thailand.
In the mean time I’ve been starting to read more books on extended travel. The one I picked up today after many favorable reviews on Amazon is Vagabonding by Rolf Potts. He has a whole lot more on his website vagabonding.net. I’m only up to page 30 so far on the bus ride this morning but it is laying some interesting ground work for changing your attitude about “work” and traveling the world. More on that as I plow through it in the next few days.
That’s about it for now! Although I will insert a picture to see how well it works.
