Merry Christmas!!
It’s almost here! I did go into work today and felt a bit more like a tourist on my normal commute. It’s been a slow day and nice that way. It started with a spotting of a pod of orca from the ferry boat. Everyone was obviously in a joyous mood and chatty. Work breezed by and we cut out early to catch the 2:30pm ferry home.
Kim and Sabrina then went on an explore around the property, hunting holly and clipping sticker bushes. Sabrina and I then went on a longer explore down to the swamp and creek.
The swamp was swampy and a lot of the reeds were matted down where some animals (coyotes or deer) had bedded for the night. At that point, the explore was mostly over as the sun had set on the shortest day and we were getting hungry.
I did some research on packing for a long trip and got some inspirational blogs into my RSS reader. Lots of people out there doing lots of cool things and seeing some great places.
