We’re all finally home!! Ahhhhh……the dishes are just about washed, the sleeping bags are airing out and the camping gear is ready for the next trip!! It’s so much easier taking care of that stuff when you get home.

And now I’m back at my parents’ house to pick up my daughter. I stopped by Scott’s garage (Old Town Garage in Union Gap, WA) and want to thank him again for helping diagnose and change out the thermostat!!! The engine is much happier now. thanks Scott!

Pit stop outside of la grande. Just about time to put fuel in. Should swing by scott’s garage in yakima around 9:30. Dang this passenger side door seems drafty. Radio calls for snow going over the cascades…..it was 75 when we left slc
Engine running hot (210F or so at 73mph). Drained some water and added 1 gallon coolant. Slowed to 68mph and it seems happier (190F).
Stopped at Motel 6 in boise by airpost for 4 hours rest. Back on the road in a bit
Had a small problem with the altranator but changed it out in Burley, I’D
